"Fr. Richard, my son (daughter) approached to us and he/she told us: Mom, dad, I am gay... I was paralyzed and it was a shock for us, I do not know what to say or what can I do." In my short experience as a Chaplain of Courage and Encourage, I have heard this phrase several times but the sad part of this encounter has been the suffering and tears of the parents when they face this statement from their children. I want to remind to parents that you are not alone, there is hope
